Art work

I have just started a new print and started to cut it out. I've done my first print with the first colour and now have to cut more out so i can add a different colour and create something like the print below.

So far i have done two different prints this is my second designs but the first one didn't turn out as good as the second. I have started two different drawings that i'm going to end up painting. The second print has four different colours in which as you can see yellow, black, red and white.

Creative Writing Essay

It all started with a sunny day. I decided to call up my friends so we could all go to Sunnyside Beach only because none of us have been there before. I got ready and left the house to go get my friends. I made sure I had everything because I did not want to drive all the way back if I had forgotten something. I pull up to their house and they are all standing outside ready to go. It was all worth it. The views were as beautiful as the heavenly skies.

The aroma of seaweed circled the beach and thats how we knew we were finally there. We saw that nobody was there. All my friends said that we must just be early and I agreed. In my head I said “We are just early don’t worry” I confirmed it in my head so I wouldn’t overreact. We got ready to jump in but I still had that thought in mind. As we were all running to the water, I was the last one to jump in as I still had the feeling that something wasn’t right. My friends start laughing and calling me names trying to get me into the water. I got sick of the names so I quickly jumped in and forgot what I was thinking. We stayed in the water for a little while then decided to go have something to eat. Everyone gets out of the water and then realises that it's still just them at the beach.

As we sat there eating, listening to music and having a good time, It didn’t feel real. My friends started saying that I'm just overreacting too much and need to chill out for a bit. They all got back into the water but I stayed behind just to see what was really happening. I started walking down the beach and saw that there was still no one there. I started getting worried so I ran back to my friends, I saw that they were not there. I get scared knowing that I'm completely alone. I tried to find them but I couldn’t see anyone.

I quickly ran back to where our stuff was then searched for my phone to call someone, but there was no service. All my friends were still there so I wasn’t sure if they left or not. I had one more look before I left, I grabbed everything I could and went back to my car. I tried all their phones to see if I could call someone to help but nothing would work. I didn’t want to leave them, because I don’t know who took them or where they went. It starts getting darker, and darker and I get more scared knowing that something or someone might have taken them away forever. I felt like this whole trip was my fault, I didn’t mean for any of this to happen but it did. I sat in the car clueless not knowing what to do.

I heard a loud “BANG” but it really scared me but I had to go see what it was. I started running back to the beach but then something caught my eye. I turned around and saw all of my friends hanging from the tree. There was blood on there bodys saying “YOUR NEXT”

Home ec\ food safety

Explain the high food risks, was used- how do you handle it to keep it safe?
It depends on what type of foods you are cooking with. With veges you should wash them because of the bacteria from the amount of people that have touched them in supermarkets.

Insert the health and safety products, prior during and after?
Before cooking we always wash our hands and tie our hair up so we don't get any germs or bacteria into the foods, Then we wipe down our tables just to clean it before we start preparing our food. As were cooking we always make sure our foods are washed or clean.

How do you know that the process\ strategy you put in place, maintain the safety of your food?
Because there is always bacteria on different foods, We make sure its clean so we do not eat germs bad bacteria's. We was it to always be sure we do not catch any food sickness.

What we made last practical !!

Art board ideas

For this year I will be focusing on Designs and painting. I have chosen these themes to identify different cultural's by putting them all together. I will be adding different colours, like the colours off each countries flag.

The two artist I have chosen are Lisa Reihana and Sofia Minson from the first list, because their paintings include different cultures and designs.

Image result for Sofia minsonThe artist I am interested in for my kaupapa is Sofia Minson. I love the different designs she uses in her paintings. I want to include the different Maori designs she has used, to combine them with all the different Polynesian cultures. Lisa Reihana artwork is more about the Polynesian side. Her paintings are like people from villages. They are doing traditional dances and things they would normally do on the island. So I want to include both cultures together by drawing different things from both artists.
