This photography art piece is from William Eggleston, the one I drew as an example on the top. The main focus in that photograph is the red table and chairs as the colour is very bright and catches your attention very quickly. The windows and the outside view break the red colour in the photo so when you look at the photo most your attention goes to the red coloured tables and chairs. Everything is lined up and the sun coming in also adds to the red tables as it makes it look more bright and colourful. It gives us a vibe of colour and also a very vintage photograph. 

This photo on the right is from Edith Amituanai, which is the second photo I drew an example of. The main focus in the photo is in the middle of the room with all the photos, flower vases and also necklaces. It catches your attention as there are many things to look at and also as you walk into the room it is in the centre of the living room. The main photo above it is also one of the main focus in this photo. It overtakes everything else in the photo and is quite big and noticeable.  

This photo by Larry Sultan was the last photo I drew an example of. The focus in this photo is the side draw with the photo frame on it. There are many things on this side draw and it is the main focus in this photograph and it is the closes to the photo. The main focus is the side draw and everything on it as there are many things to look at and also they all catch your attention. It comes form the photo frame.

 In this contact sheet and my fist one they are both based on street style and just todays fashion. I used different angles and other framings with these photos. The photos with the skateboard I took are close ups, mid shots, rule of thirds and also made some blur or focused to get a different setting on the photos. I wanted to include the skateboard so that it would look like a street styled photo also because I want to include graffiti. By using graffiti I can edit the photos and add graffiti onto the skate board.

 Today I have chosen three different artist from the matrix, the first artist that comes under the aoteroa theme is Edith Amituanai, second artist that comes under contemporary is Duane Michals and my last one under traditional is William Eggleston. I have chosen these three artist as my focus as I want to include some of there photography ideas into mine and use it as inspo.

Photography

 My theme for art this year is Street wear/graffiti. The artist I am looking at to help me getting an idea on how to take my photos and also just relate my work to there themes of art work. The reason I chose this topic was because I like to style clothes and also being in the city. 

All artist I have chosen relate to the theme I have but they all have different topics that I would like to combine together but with street wear and also graffiti. William Eggleston's photography work is very old fashion and also vintage, I chose him as one of my top artist as his art work as he takes photos of fashion and also photos in the city.  Edith Amituanai also has very old fashion photos but are more cultural and related to her background. I chose her as another artist as I like the way she combined her culture and also background together, she also has many photos of her city and where she is from.  Ans Westra's photography work is very old and also vintage which is also why I chose her as one of my artist. She also takes many photos of people in the street and there fashion in the photos are very different to today's fashion.

Portfolio

 This portfolio is at the lower end of an excellence. So an achieved grade in excellence. At the bottom of the first panel the three photos that have been taking all work together as there all look very similar and all taking as the same photo just from different angles or further away or closer. All the photos are very similar but they all have different meanings. Not all photos go together but some work together.
