My theme for art this year is Street wear/graffiti. The artist I am looking at to help me getting an idea on how to take my photos and also just relate my work to there themes of art work. The reason I chose this topic was because I like to style clothes and also being in the city.
All artist I have chosen relate to the theme I have but they all have different topics that I would like to combine together but with street wear and also graffiti. William Eggleston's photography work is very old fashion and also vintage, I chose him as one of my top artist as his art work as he takes photos of fashion and also photos in the city. Edith Amituanai also has very old fashion photos but are more cultural and related to her background. I chose her as another artist as I like the way she combined her culture and also background together, she also has many photos of her city and where she is from. Ans Westra's photography work is very old and also vintage which is also why I chose her as one of my artist. She also takes many photos of people in the street and there fashion in the photos are very different to today's fashion.
