In maths we had been working on how we can help farmers sell NZ wool. Our challenge was to make a product out of NZ wool. We have done a presentation on our topic and why we chose this challenge, and how we will sell our product. We always wrote about how we would make it and what we would make for NZ kids.

Reflection
What I learnt
I learnt that NZ wool is Non-allergic which means wool is no known to allergy and does not promote the growth of bacteria.
What I liked/dislike
What i liked was learning something new about NZ wool. What disliked was presenting in front of everyone.

Recipe for scones
Scones
Ingredients
3 cups plain flour
_ teaspoons Baking Powder
¼ ______________ salt
75_ butter
1 to 1 ½ cups _______
Method
- _____ flour, ____________, and salt into a bowl
- Cut ________ in until it resembles fine breadcrumbs
- Add milk and mix quickly with a ________ to a soft _________.

- Place baking paper on tray.
- Press scone dough onto this. _____ into 12 pieces.

Variations
- Cheese scones
Add ¾ cup grated cheese, pinch of cayenne pepper to flour.
Before baking top with a little cheese
- Sultana scones
Add ¾ cup sultanas to flour
What went well on Friday?
Me and my partner did well but they were a bit under cooked because we were in a rush.
What needs to be improved?
Maybe helping each other out and to communicating with each other.
What did i learn?
I learnt a new recipe for scones and how to work the oven.
